Description
Cold as the space between hearts of a kind has grownA fire still burns, nonetheless
wasting to bittersweet ashes, kindles away.
All done and over and moving on. Right?
so easy to convince shrewd naive minds
thinking never with a mind of their own.
But silence that little voice inside your head
keep suffocating it till it's almost dead.
Pretend a piece of past was all a dream
gone like the character you once had been.
Love pleads its sake one second chance
Too late, says Hate, for another dance
Maybe months, years from now we'll meet
out of pure coincidence of course; and presumably,
New life, new shoes, new friends; and hopefully,
By and by
we'd have finally come -
to find ourselves.

u know i think you're right about the best friends bit there's truth in it- but i dont like to believe it. Cuz thennn i start thinking about my best friends now and if the same's going to happen with them someday - that makes me sad

I did a similar thing to what you described a few months ago, and it was only recently that I realised that I was in the wrong all along, so this poem hits home. You conveyed your message in a lyrical and effective way - definately the type of piece that I'd expect to see in a published anthology.

this was also a couple months back.. at the time i seriously couldnt cope with what was happening. And u know it's hell lot harder when both sides know there's no use making up, cuz things will never really be the same..

i used to do a lot of creative writing with my poems n i still do, though i've recently realised poetry's best when it like comes from the heart and without too much thought into what ur writing... just let it go!

it's really based on my true feelings of something happening in my life at the mo.. i feel it always helps to like write down crappy stuff on paper. n sharin it and getting positive comments like yours.. it does help a lot
