I surprised myself today and did a watercolor painting. I'm even more surprised that I like the end result, since watercolor usually isn't my friend. This doesn't normally happen.I don't trust myself with watercolor so I was too nervous to paint on my original drawing (Swan on a Lake) so I scanned it, uploaded it to DA, and then printed off this copy of 'Swan on a Lake' to watercolor on. This was the final result.

very graceful. Nicely painted. I thought it was acrylic or oil at first but since it's your first watercolour it has inherited something from oil painting and that looks good.

This is beautiful, and the movement in the water is graceful and peaceful; the swan looks realistic and the detail and shading in the feathers is gorgeous. Very well done, you should be proud.
