Joffre Lake, near Pemberton BC (also North of Whistler). Those are glaciers you see on the mountains there, which make the lake very cold. There are actually four of these lakes, but the other three required hiking and there wasn't time (or the inclination). Even this one, which is so close to the road and campsites, looks pristine.Related content

Even though the water looks like it's freezing, it looks like it could be warm at the same time.

Beautiful shot! You just prompted me to look up Joffre Lake.. I'm usually out exploring/camping in parts just south of Whistler but haven't gone farther north for the most part; looks like I'm gonna have to now..
