Description More DA fanart from the Dalish origin. In the origin story, hahren Paivel asks Mahariel to help him tell the children the history of the Dalish. My Mahariel thinks that the story needs a bit of embellishment, much to Paivel's chagrin. The kids like it though. ^_^

So, if you start in the beginning, he cuts you off, but if you start near the end, he won't? Or... what?

Yeah. I think I did that twice; the first time was towards the end. the second time was towards the beginning and he just stopped prompting me. The game didn't specify if the kids reacted, but I'm sure they did.

Aw, thanks for the compliment! To get some of the Dude back, you can imagine Faylen telling a story with Violence and Hot Women in it. That's why the kids are so interested.

Faylen looks like quite the storyteller the way the kids pay attention to her.

I'm on my second playthrough of the Dalish origin (I love my Dalish too much) and in both times, I always chose to tell the story to the kids the proper way for some reason. Just out of curiosity, what does Hahren Paivel say when you screw it up?

He cuts you off once you start smart alecking. I did it towards the end the first time, then towards the beginning, and he just stops prompting you. Though his line at the end is pretty nice. You should try it. ^__^ Yea Dalish! ^__^
