Hi there! Disch sent me to your site to see your photos of New Zealand and I can see why. This is absolutely beautiful - the lighting holds me captive. I will soon have an in-law from the Bay of Islands area and I hope to visit someday.
It amazes me that any New Zealander would want to journey and leave such a gorgous country - even for a short time - but they are among some of the most traveled! I was supposed to go over in March and we were taking a tour through Doubtful Sound. We've cancelled our trip so this is bittersweet to gaze upon.

I hope you get the chance to visit it someday. It is one of the most remarkable places in the world. The South island holds many spectacular vistas. I read you are planning to return to the Virgin Islands again - congratulations! I hope you enjoy it as much as before.

I've never heard anything less than spectacular reviews about NZ and it's a destination I hope to reach sooner rather than later - while I am young and able to hike! Thanks for the compliment. The camera did alot of the work I won't argue. However I had to walk its' lazy ass up the mountains and all over. Plus I had to take the lense cap off...Damn.

A G&T. Gin and Tonic?
Yeah some day we'll have cameras that fly, like radio controlled planes and we can just send them up and out to whatever place we want and snap our shots while monitoring the view on the control panel.
Maybe someday we'll have cameras that will wipe our butts for us too. And of course open our beers.
