Cartoon render version of Miriam "Sniperbadger" Ann Flippo, hactivist extraordinaire, as she appeared in the Centipede and Fire saga and in Sodality. This is her Earth-G7.2.1 variant. Miriam loved her sister Candi very much; but was jealous of all the attention Candi got from manifesting centipede powers. Miriam was confused as to why her own never manifested.

She may not have gotten to be Ciem, but Miriam took pains to assist Imaki, and to be relevant in Candi's work as Ciem for as long as possible. As the hacker "Sniperbadger," Miriam had frustrated many an online adversary. She even got to do some things in this regard independently of Candi.

However, the impossible living conditions that she and her sisters were placed under by Darius, the Kirby Act, and her legalistic older sister Erin, finally pushed Miriam too far. Like Candi, she rebelled against Erin's dating rules. Only, Miriam got extra bitter when her first few excursions didn't work out, and became more open than Candi to things that even Candi still viewed as forbidden: sexual gambling, prostitution, one night stands, etc.

However, what was all fun and games to Miriam in her first two years of high school, quickly became a curse for her later in life! Helping the Purge-Flare defeat Lava Tigre, and then sleeping with Chris after helping him avoid detection by law enforcement, plus being exposed as Sniperbadger, all in short order, resulted in Miriam getting two years in federal prison!

Not long after that, the world she knew began falling apart. Arfaas demanded the state of Indiana put to a vote whether or not they'd have her executed on the guillotine, and her head delivered to Arfaas! Reaching a low point in her life, especially when internet service became far less reliable under Halal Affdidah, Miriam thought about turning herself in for execution regardless if the whole state voted for it or not! If everyone hated her that much, why bother running?

To her relief, the state voted against Arfaas' wishes. Then again, he sent the plague prematurely, out of his incompetent impatience. Miriam now knew that they wouldn't honor anything with a man who couldn't honor his promises to the state! She had to get away from that terrorist. Weighing their options, Miriam and her new boyfriend Phil figured their best course of action was to flee to Hong Kong. Candi agreed this was probably Miriam's best chance; though the sisters mourned the realization that their hero journeys would likely never walk the same path again.

After a perilous journey to California - in which Phil didn't make it - Miriam came to learn a horrible truth: the money she was to inherit in a vault from her parents wasn't in California! It had been moved for safekeeping to Hawaii! And the man whom she needed to get to the vault? Kamohoalii!

That meant that she needed to get to Hawaii, get her riches, and then flee to Hong Kong! But she was too broke to board a cruise ship there. Out of frustration, she prostituted herself to the ship captain's son. She agreed to be his sexy time partner for a full week, in exchange for getting to stowaway on the ship. It was not her proudest moment; but it was the only means she knew of that had been provided to her so she could pay her way.

Pakulihi Lekaho quickly concluded that she was a real piece of work; and that she'd probably die in Hong Kong. He didn't know her full story; but her mentioning what happened to Phil was all the shark lord needed to know that Miriam had lived a long life of enduring harsh betrayals and reacting by making poor choices! That being said, he believed letting her go to Hong Kong was still the best course of action. He may have been sending her to an early grave; but she could very well have been the key to making the Hebbleskins pay for all they'd done!

Miriam settled in Hong Kong quickly, and assumed the alias of "Haishui." However, she also discovered some boys with rich connections in the area who had found copies of the sex tape that Tyrone's backstabbing former best friend stole, which he'd edited to create an online legend of one "Mila Fila."

She remembered Candi saying something about how that loser-creep had stolen something from her and Tyrone that could prove very embarrassing. And lo and behold, the creeper had just shown the entire world Candi and Tyrone's private at-home sex video, which was supposed to be only for them! Candi was Mila Fila! Furious that anyone would make Candi a porn star against her will, Miriam did the craziest thing in her life yet: assume the identity for herself!

As "Mila Fila," Miriam and her new Chinese friends shot several more sex tapes. Miriam was disgusted with herself that she went from being part of the legacy of Stan and Shalia Flippo, to being a lowly Hong Kong porn star. However, it was the only way she knew of to protect Candi.

The Hebbleskins eventually raided the building where Miriam's new boy toy lived, and burned it down. Miriam tried to save him, but ultimately failed. She was able to get out of there herself alive, and without being recognized by the enemy. Dodged a bullet!

She was now rich enough to not need to be involved in porn, so she quit that profession. She began to fear she'd never know true love again! And who would want her, after all she'd done? A hooker, porn star, and cybercriminal? How was Candi cleaning up, getting married, and doing so well, while Miriam had become scum, even in her own eyes? She had to do better!

She took a low-end job as a pharmacy assistant, again under the alias of "Haishui." But when the Hebbleskin threat to Hong Kong grew too great, she fled to Shanghai. She realized it was a huge gamble that could get her killed; but she revealed her identity to authorities.

Once they got over their initial shock at having captured the one-and-only Sniperbadger, it became a matter of deciding whether to have her executed, or put her to work for the MSS. Miriam reminded them of everything they had to gain from letting her work for them; though she responded to threats of the guillotine with a flippant: "your call."

Right as she was about to be sent off to be beheaded, the officials in charge were stopped by other officials. A key overseer for the infamous "Task Force Black Rat" agreed to hear Miriam's case.

Before long, she was in the good graces of agents Black Rat and Stung Hornet, and found herself quickly fitting in with all the other misfits on the team. She had a one night stand with Shing "Black Rat" Xu, but later met and fell in love with fellow captured former American Steve "Guan" McLaine.

Eventually, she and Steve would conceive twins together, and be assigned to a science station in Alaska. Steve and Miriam married a time later, and focused on raising their children. When Mingmei and Shing had to retire from the MSS, agents "Forked Tiger" and "Scratched Hen" took over as Miriam's supervisors.

In all her life, Miriam never truly regained her freedom. However, she felt like she didn't deserve to be free, looking back on the life she'd led.
