This broke my heart to draw, but I LOVE how it turned out. This and the last page might be one of my favorites from the entire comic. I never drew Sarabis POV before, but I actually might now.... Simba is trying to pull himself out of his memories.. But this is bringing everything back to the surface for him. Nala is breaking my heart also. She remembers what it was like to lose her best friend as a cub, but losing her own daughter at a similar age as she was then? Brutal. Kiara has so much more to do in this world....
