You are a trully master of collage drawings! I love how you mix perfectly real objects like this Telecaster in your own drawings~
I know that it's inspired by Hewlett but anyway it has your very own touch and I find it wonderful
Btw, I love how cool looks Noodle here! The colors, clothing style and noise effect gives a retro feeling very lovely~ but at the same
time looks modern! And omg, Noodle looks really badass here, gotta love her smile and how she is holding the cigarette!

I really enjoyed finding nice colours for this piece and it was so satisfying to finally stumble upon a palette
And nope I dont sell fan art that's close to the original content's style when it comes to cartoons.
In general, the fan art content is not fully yours except that you put time and effort into it, and perhaps its your style. I could argue with that if the style is completely yours mwah mhhh it might not be as bad, especially if some original artists wont care if people sell their fan arts. But youre never save from getting sued in worst cases. Mine however is too close to the original style that I personally think it's wrong to try and sell it even though I feel like Jamie Hewlett is someone who doesnt... care? As long as it doesnt ruin his career of course. But you cant assume these things.
Plus, having to sell these means uploading big full quality on the shop, probably with the watermark in the corner instead to not ruin it for the buyer.
People could then just take the image from the site to try and sell it themselves (Which happens a lot with my older fan art cus back then I just uploaded whatever size and the smallest watermark) Instead they have to take this low res upload, which looks even worse if you scale it cus prints have size limits, and try to edit out the watermark on the highly pixelated work without it looking too smudged. Its much more effort to steal it then, most cant be bothered by that and find fan art that's easier to sell.
So these are the 2 problems for selling my gorillaz fan art. But I do have my realistic versions of them in the shop. Although I kind of abandoned it, I dont look at it anymore... but maybe I sometimes upload a new piece just in case if someone is interested its there. But I dont really care if nothing happens with it.
MAAAAAAYBE in the impossible future that I somehow hear Hewlett doesnt care about it and therefor permission to sell, and I have found a site that doesnt a bad quality thumbnail of the print instead of the full quality thing... then I might sell my Gorillaz fan arts for those interested.
