Description "Strange Homecoming!"

"Seleia stood wide eyed in disbelief at what she was seeing. Before her laid an entire city, unlike the ones she was use to on Earth. This one seemed clean and advanced, built by some far greater beings than she was use to. Edotet walked ahead and joyfully spun around while showing off the metropolis with glee. Seleia didn't know what to think, for some reason, she felt like she's been here before. Edotet spoke up, explaining that this was all part of her own memories and she was allowing Seleia to see into them in order to see the home she should have been born into. For the first time, real or fake, Seleia had made it to Hyperion! At first she felt like crying, seeing the home of her people for the first time should have been a joyful experience. But the thought of this purely being a memory, a projection of what was, reminded her of the terrible fate that befell the beautiful land. It was strange on having anyone around her, no one walking or enjoying the city. Edotet told her that because this was a memory and she died elsewhere, she had no memories of people walking the streets in her home city. At this point, she was mainly happy that she still had memories of Hyperion at all, being the destruction of her homeworld and her own death were now several decades prior. Suddenly, a strange yet familiar man started to walk past the two Hyperians. He was laughing to himself, and as he walked by Seleia he looked up at her and said one phrase "A perfect specimen". Hearing this stopped Seleia in her tracks, she heard that before and he looked familiar to her from somewhere. Edotet turned to Seleia and explained, that was the Counselor of the Empire responsible for her creation. Teed, the one who funded the secret program to create a super-soldier. She was able to see him because he was familiar to both of them, as he was also the one who stole Edotet's DNA from her dying body. It was starting to become clear to Seleia, Edotet may have had an ulterior motive to bringing her to Hyperion after all. As they started to walk through the city again, something started to change. The world began growing darker and the streets started to appear more cracked and damaged. Where ever this was going, Seleia didn't like it."

(An early one today since it's Mother's Day! Treat your Mom's to something nice today! You could say Edotet is technically Seleia's Mom, so.....It's canon now!)
