Hello everyone. Like with my Series 5 Fireman Sam post, I will try to see how I would fix some of the Series 3 to 5 of Postman Pat's issues. I personally have a soft spot for series 3 to 5, but I can see some of its issues. So, let's begin,

1. keep Miss Hubbard, Peter Fogg, George Lancaster, Granny Drydan, Major Forbbes, and Sam Waldron involved. This is probably one of the most biggest issues with series 3 to 5. These characters did have major roles in the original and feel they should have been given some attention in these seasons. I'm happy with the Baines introduced as they were pretty good characters, but these 6 characters should stay in Greendale and play major roles.

2. have HOT animation do the animation. As much as I love Cosgrove Hall, I think they were a little bit too fast-paced for Pat. I think HOT animation would of been abit more suitable as I think their animation work in shows like Bob The Builder, Rubberdubbers and Pingu was pretty good and would suit the pacing of the original Series 1 to 2 style. Plus, they managed to keep Pingu in his original design, and I think they would probably do the same for Pat.

3. make more stories about Pat and the others. Like Norman in Series 5 of Fireman Sam, the children characters did get a bit too much screen time. I think the stories would be a bit better if they made it more about Pat delivering post and helping people with their troubles while overcoming obstacles or just having daily conversations with them.

4. have Simon Woodgate reprise some of the original soundtrack. I did like Simon's take on the music, but I wish he also reprised the original soundtrack heard in the show, like the travelling theme and even some small dities of instrumentals of songs heard in the original like Ted's song, Jess' song, the farming song, etc (similar to how Ian Lawson and Ben Heneghan did dities of songs they did for classic Fireman Sam)

This is how I would personally fix Series 3 to 5 of Postman Pat's issues. It's not as big as Series 5 of Fireman Sam's issues, but still would be nice to have these happen in series 3 to 5. Might try and do the Hit era of Thomas next.
