Description
This my interpretation of a Green Lantern suit for a movie in the same vein as the Superman Reboot suit, and the Batman suit before it. I tried to maintain the basic look of the costume that's been in the comics virtually unchanged for so many years. The only real changes were to break up the green a little, minimize the white on the gloves, and have the boots as black instead of green. The all white gloves are little distracting, but white is necessary to have. I prefer to keep all of the green in the focal areas so that's why I dropped it from the boots. There are a number of ways to go as far as the mask is concerned, I went with something a little more sturdy looking.I used a pattern from here: [link]

I love the brilliance of the white gloves there, and how you made a large green lantern symbol with the torso's green area. If I use those ideas for my art, I'll give you credit sir.

I gotta say, this is probably the best movie-version GL costume I've seen yet, kudos! I'd do a few things differently, but I love the white stripes on the gloves, most people leave the white out, but I think it's an important touch, it gives the costume that "uniform" look that it needs. Very nicely done. Instant fav!

Oh, and I realize this probably looks way to dark if your viewing on an old school monitor. I could barely make it out on another monitor, which kind of sucks. Catwoman is pretty bad too.

I love this design, I have several pixel art GL's in my gallery if you ever want to take a look for ideas.
Anyway I like the mask and the gloves though the shoulders look a little out of place, maybe something on the sides of the legs to sort of match would help.
