Some backstory!!:

Luna and Scorpan met several years ago, when he asked the royal sisters for help to stop his brother, Lord Tirek, in the preparation for the fight, they developed a friendship, a really close one (the two fool had a crush on each other), and when his brother was sent to Tartarus, Scorpan left to his kingdom. Without a ruler, he was the next in line for the crown, he ruled for a couple of years, but there was something missing...He missed the cheerfulness of Equestria, the ponys, his friend Starswirl, and the princesses...especially Luna. He placed another one in charge, and left, but when he reached Equestria he was greeted by only Queen Celestia who told him the news of her dearest sister corruption, they were both devastated...but he could wait, he went to a little village and stayed there, waiting.

When Nightmare Moon was defeated, word spread across the land, but Scorpan wasn't so sure anymore, what if his friend didn't wanted him back? so he waited more, and it was after his brother second defeat he reached for the two sisters, to apologize once again. When the doors opened in the throne room, Luna couldn't believe her eyes, she went and greeted her old friend, there he was again, still an introvert goof, but loyal and kind. They talked for hours, both quite flustered, but they didn't mind, it was nice, the sisters offered him to stay,and he gladly did.

They met a lot of times after, for lunch, in the library, the gardens...And they couldn't bear it anymore, they loved eachother, but Luna still didn't forgive herself. She invited him to the Grand Galloping Gala, and in the gardens she confessed her love (you go Luna! go!), saying that, still, she felt they were polar opposites, he was the good brother, who even tried to stop his sibling from doing wrong and saw the good in him, and she tried to destroy her sister, let darkness consume her, it was okay if he didn't correspond her feelings, oh how wrong she was, the big goof loved her more than anything,and so what if she made a mistake, she knew she did wrong and apologized sincerely, nopony saw her as a threat anymore, they adored her, and he did too. They started courting (old school milenium sweethearts) and married a year later, in a full moon night.
