OMG ANJU IS SOOOOO HARD TO DRAW!!! Sooooo Maaaaannnnyyy Deeettttaiiilllsss!!! @.@ Anyways it did turn out good. Her hair is supposed to be gray, but she looks old like that so I added some blondeness. I really like how it turned out. I'm thinking I may draw her controlling some bats some time, but probably not anytime soon.
Oh yeah, Anju is Karin's little sister from Chibi Vampire for those of you who don't know. Her doll is Boogie-kun who is a serial killer's ghost trapped in that doll. Hence the kitchen knife since that's what he used to kill people with. He scares me.

As suggested by I added some silver to her hair. I don't know if it really helped at all but oh well.

well i had a reference on this one and the meroko one too so i knew where to put the folds/ruffles, however, i have gotten much better at drawing ruffles and such, i think. i need to draw someone with a rufflely/foldful dress or something sometime without a reference to prove it. ah well thank you anyways!!!!!!!

Heh, I use a lot of refs, myself. Not so much these days, but still a few. It doesn't mean it's any less you'r work, lass, so take pride all the same, dig?
And the more you draw things that are tricky, like folds and ruffles and suchlike (and a whole lot of other things, for me) the better you get at 'em, whether you use refs or not! So it's good to use 'em sometimes. ^^

that's like exactly my beliefs on references too. it's for practice!! however, when i first started out i used to be dependant on references (although that makes sense...) but now i hardly uses references at all unless i'm drawing a character that i haven't drawn before but i've always wanted to draw (decently!
