I love the contrast between lights and darks. I think throughout the whole story, Peeta is always so light and nice and Katniss is always more serious and... not happy or cheerful. But yes, the hair is wonderful haha!
And is it just me or does Katniss look sort of like Pocahontas?

This work is racist because Katniss is olive skinned, and her skin color has been significantly lightened here.

Olive skinned just means slightly darkened, naturally tanned skin. If Katniss was of another race, Collins would have stated so and Jennifer Lawrence wouldn't have been casted as Katniss, considering Suzanne Collins was a HUGE part of the casting process. So, no this is not racist, since Katniss does indeed have tanned, olive skin in this drawing, along with the fact that, with no racism intended, Katniss is Caucasian, or at least all evidence in the books and casting points to that.

Even if she's not Caucasian, and is of another race, it doesn't matter to her character, and still doesn't give give you a right to call this picture racist. Calling someone out on racism is a BIG judgment. I'm not trying to argue or anything, I'm just defending the drawing. I could be wrong, and someone please correct me if I am.
