I'm slowly pulling myself out of the depression nosedive, and my artistic drive is returning in drips and drabs. Good beefcake never fails to lift my spirits, so I turned out this piece. Plus I realized that I've never drawn Nick Daring with his hair down. I spent a lot of time with lighting and shadows, but I didn't have the drive to render an entire background. But a nice steamy mist gets the point across, and I enjoyed playing around with the rim lights. I was tempted to leave the towel off, but I chickened out and preserved Nick's modesty. I am weak.

Ask Nick Daring one of his favorite things about the 21st century, and he'll tell you--hot showers and quality self-care products. He's a big hairy bear of a man, but that doesn't mean he doesn't value good hygiene. He's still a simple man with simple tastes, but being on Furio's payroll means that he can indulge in some luxury lathers, colognes, and body sprays. There's no better feeling than that shower fresh feeling.
