I love shooting scenes like this—赤提灯 ('akachouchin') in Japanese. It literally means 'red paper lantern' but refers to cheap eating and drinking places. This particular one is tucked away in an area of Shinjuku.Shot with a Nikon D5 and 24-120mm f/4G zoom lens.
