I was been there 4 weeks ago. We used the Yamanote Line very often. If I see a picture of Tokyo it's like vacation again

Thank you very much! They love colors here in general.

But the green, the green! I went around on google earth while in work to escape work, and it was the most random pick of a place, a man was carrying a kind of gas canister across the road, and every time I see Japan it's so compact, everything has unity, the colours never clash, it's never garish or cluttered, pale white buildings, modest use of colour, so classy. I just took a look at another photo of yours, something simple like the road having a kind of pavement painted on it in green, with a thick white line, then red (for the road), a thick white, then the green pavement, with large white text painted on the road further down, I love graphic design so I find it appealing.

Or this is so perfect

The strong yellow, and lime green, and then the same shade of blue scattered throughout.

Indeed they do colors really here! Construction sites and equipment are one thing that really stands out for me with it's unusual color schemes here in Japan. It certainly makes the photography a lot of fun!
