Say hello to one of the three new heroes for G5 mainverse.

This here is IRONSTONE, captain of the HELIOS GARRISON... a unit who's origins dates back centuries before the events of G5 began.... but we'll get to that in just a bit.
Ironstone, or irons for short, is strong willed and steadfast, dedicated to achieving his goals and not letting anything get in his way, he's seen many battles in his time and has killed plenty to earn his position during the events of his story.

Now then, how's about we talk about his overall look and abilities.
For ironstone, I gave white As the primary colour for his coat while brown acts as the secondary colour for his mane and tail. And as a soldier, of course he'd be wearing armour. One that's seen better days as you can guess. Mostly grey and yellow with some bits of black, naturally it isn't trying to go the shiny look of today's pegasus armour.
Though you may notice two versions of him here. One with red eyes and wings while the other has him with brown eyes and wing, that lower image is what he looked like before he'd get those red eyes and wings as later mentioned in his story.
Now his abilities. As stated, he's a battle hardened captain, his flying skills are among the best in the garrison, soaring at great speeds. His front hoof armour has clips to attach weapons, like shields to protect him as he flies and spears for when he wants to dash in for a charging strike... but even without weapons, he's more than capable in a fight.

But how's about we get to learn a little more about ironstone through his own story, shall we?

STORY
Long ago, while the three tribes were divided, a secret conflict was waged, unknown to almost all of equestria, known as "the phantom wars". This was was waged by three factions from each pony race. "The helios garrison", consisting of mighty pegasus warriors.... "the brotherhood of unicorns", a cult aiming to restore their kinds former glory...and "the steel legion", earth ponies armed with advanced machinery capable of evening the odds.
During the war, ironstone was considered one of the best flyers in the garrison, having achieved several victories and was even knighted by the then pegasus ruler, king helios himself.
In the final years of the war, ironstone led a squad against the brotherhood base.... many considered it a suicide mission but ironstone was determined to see it through.... as the mission went on, ironstones squad were taken down, one by one.... he was able to succeed in the mission but soon he too would fall, crashing into the ocean as he was shot down.
..... this would've spelled the end of ironstone.... however, two hundred years later, magic would return to equestria... and so would an ancient power that would find the remains of this pegasus captain and bring him back to life, his eyes and wings turning as red as fire..... ironstone was reborn but lost in a time long past his age, where all three pony races are one again.... he's been given another chance in life but is burdened with many questions, how long has he truly been gone? Where can he go now? Why is his eyes and wings red... and why is he seeing images of those he has killed and seeing visions of fire and destruction?
