Hail to the king.... of the gods

That's right, here we have the king of the gods of olympus himself and the final boss for the spartan rangers final arc, ZEUS! .... (battle damage red ranger helmet sold separately) lol

Naturally there's been plenty of different takes on this guy through movies, games, comics, etc and this version of zeus is no exception.
In this case, this version of zeus is still king of olympus, during the titan wars, he forged the blade of olympus and made a gauntlet to control its power, allowing him to banish the titans to hell.
But as history went on, zeus and the gods faded into obscurity, leaving behind their relics.... where only a few years ago, Sean, the spartan fury red ranger, claimed the gauntlet of zeus and allowing him to call upon the blade of olympus, giving him his battlizer mode.
The rest is pretty much history with the spartan rangers, with the blade of olympus helping them defeat the undead Persian armies, the reality war, the returning titans (as well as athena plotting to rule the earth while mortals and titans kill each other off) and more..... but after all this time... the king has returned.

And I think this is where we can look into his design, the attire itself is sort of what would one except zeus to wear of course, gold armoured boots, white and gold robes. Grey beard and hair (little tricky since I'm more use to helmeted characters).
And of course this take on zeus has his lightning but also his signature blade of olympus and his gauntlet he uses to wield it.

Though you may also notice the spartan fury red ranger helmet all busted, What gives? Well that is where we begin.... with the end, as we head into POWER RANGER SPARTAN FURY FINAL SEASON, THE LAST STORM.

STORY
For years, new leaf city has been under constant attack, from undead armies, aliens, titans and forces beyond comprehension..... and for years these forces have been kept at bay by the cities mighty defenders... the power rangers spartan fury.... These champions have bested threat after threat, no one would ever take them down.... at least that's what many would believe.

News speaks of a series of powerful storms in new leaf, at first they were seen as nothing but bad weather.... but as time went on, the storms grew worse, damaging homes, lives harmed and often times taken..... when the more brutal storms hit the city, the spartan rangers knew they had to step in and offer their help, after all, to the people of new leaf, they were their heroes, the cities local legends.... it was the rangers that continued to inspire hope to those who have none, even in such harsh times.

Jiro had been looking into these storms, noticing that they are all mostly focused on new leaf city.... whats worse, its believed that there will be one more storm, far more terrible than any other, capable of destroying all of new leaf city itself.... perhaps its a sign of something or someone approaching.... and that the rangers needed to be ready.... unfortunately, however, they were now without their greatest weapon.

Sean: where is it? Where's the gauntlet?

The gauntlet of zeus was Sean's means to call the blade of olympus, a weapon he had used time and time again.... but without the gauntlet, without the blade.... can the rangers best what was to come.

Searching for the gauntlet of zeus would have to wait, with time running out, the citizens of new leaf were to evacuate the city immediately... the rangers themselves once again offered their assistance.

Spartan fury white: please remain calm, try not to panic.

Spartan fury blue: that's it, just keep it together, okay?

Spartan fury red: don't worry, now, we got this.... I hope.

As the rain began to pour down and the bolts of lighting struck, the rangers noticed a single figure approaching.

Spartan fury black: the hells he doing out there?

Spartan fury yellow: HEY, WE NEED TO GET YOU OUT OF HERE BEFORE THE STORM GETS WORSE AND WRECKS THIS PLACE!

???:.... this storm is for you.

Spartan fury yellow: what?

???: you, you mortals have brought nothing but chaos.... you pose as Spartans, you ravage these lands with your battles, stained MY blade and dared to kill athea.

Spartan fury black: his blade, what does he mean b-..... oh sh-

The flashes of lightning were blinding.... but soon the spartan rangers were able to see who was approaching them.... and who is ultimately responsible for these storms.

Spartan fury gold: it can't be.... zeus?

Zeus: .... well at least you know my name.... and by extention, you know of my blade.... after all, you have soaked it in the blood of countless lives in your battles.

Spartan fury red: so it was you who stole the gauntlet?

Zeus: I simply took back what was mine.... the blade of olympus was not meant for mortals, its power is far too great for your kind.

Spartan fury blue: okay, you have the blade so why the storm? Why draw us out?

Zeus: because of all the mortals I have witnessed, you six possess a power and force I have never see before....... and after seeing what it is capable of, what it has done to this world.... I shall kill you all and rid this world of the blight of your power once and for all.

Spartan fury red: not a chance.

Zeus: you dare resist?

Spartan fury red: your damn right I resist! We're power rangers, we never retreat, never surrender... and we will stop you, zeus.

Zeus: so be it... come power rangers, come and live up to your spartan ways.

Spartan fury red: SPARTANS, ATTACK!

Despite everything, the rangers began their charge at zeus, wasting no time in powering up their weapons. Zeus easily evaded almost all attacks with ease but the numbers were still in their favour, landing some hits on zeus and stagger him... however, zeus grew irritated at this defiance, that the power these spartan rangers wield is enough to fend him off. Zeus began his counterattack, each strike from the blade of olympus easily pushed the rangers back and sending them crashing through a number of abandoned buildings.... most of them were barely able to get themselves back up, the red ranger trying his best to keep his balance after such an attack.

Zeus: don't you see this is pointless, child?... Submit, cast away the powers you wield and I might yet spare you.

Spartan fury red: ill never stop fighting, zeus..... I'll die before I give up...

Zeus: then you truly live up to the spartan code...... no retreat..... no surrender..... to the death.

Zeus raises the blade up high, prepared to deliver the final blow. The rangers tried to get back on their feet to save Sean.... but they were too late, zeus plunged the blade into Sean, stabbing him..... zeus then closed his eyes as pities his foe as he draws his last breath.... Sean, the spartan fury red ranger.... was dead.... the rangers cried out Sean's name,

Zeus: such a foolish boy..... this is what the power of the grid has done to him, has done to you... it made you believe you are unstoppable.... I will free you of such delusions... you may say your goodbyes to your fallen friend.... for soon, you shall bid farewell to your powers as well.... one way or another, the age of spartan fury come to an end.

And with a flash of lightning, zeus was gone, leaving behind the remains of Sean for the rangers to gather towards, their tears falling as much as the rain..... this can't be how it ends.... can it?
