Edit: Resized the source file so that it doesn't appear pixelated when viewing at full size.Space Ace was an arcade game with beautiful animations from Don Bluth. I am particularly fond of the female character called Kimberly, who gets kidnapped right at the start of the game. Though you would imagine this is a good start, and yes there are several scenes involving her peril (including some game over animations), there are a number of things that happen to Ace that I feel should have been put to use somewhere else. This picture is one such scenario.
I decided to put Kimberly in Ace's place against a robot that seems to be some sort of vacuum cleaner. Kimberly has been caught by surprise and ensnared in the Vac-Bot's transparent sack, and without a weapon to help her break free, things are going to get a bit tight. Lets hope those nails of hers are strong enough to rip through it.

I'm starting to like the concept of women getting stuck and trapped in bubbles... a very unique of trapping women in peril.
And, great outfit for Kimberly to be wearing as she struggles to get free of the bubble and away from the robot.

I think the sac is made out of a space-age polymer too. So, it's going to get pretty snug for her next -- to be later hung in a glass display case by it.

wow! great artwork! I totally would have thought it was ripped from the game if I didn't know there was no such scene...awesome! Actually, I think it is a bit more detailed than the game's graphics were

There definitely is a resemblance, I suppose Bloom could have been inspired by Kim? Probably just a coincidence though, those colours do go well together.

As the vacuum quickly suck in all the remaining air, the plastic sack (too thick it break) gets tighter and tighter around the trapped Kimberly!
