The tiny web makes this photo so much more. It quickly shifts the focus to a more finite scale. Really a beautiful trick of nature and a wonderful composition on your part, in its capture.

Thank you, Shawn. I'm always looking, but it's more intuitive. I don't often think about composition when shooting. I have certainly become more aware of it, though, since I've been shooting so much. I have images with poor composition, and it does make me think about some general things to avoid.

I think you're intuition is a part of your composing as you carefully chose whats' in the view finder before pushing the button. Because you aren't thinking of the specific points and such doesn't mean you aren't composing.

Yes, I know that. It's something in how I see things. I'm glad I see things the way I do, but I know I could sometimes see better.

I think you're getting better sighted all the time.

I like this the best out of the three. Here's why: the composition is well balanced and the image fills the frame with color and texture.

Thank you, Duncan. I really appreciate the comment, too. I know you are overloaded and busy, so it makes it all the more meaningful that you took the time to say so much. I cherish your friendship and feedback.

I just finished cleaning the house, grocery shopping etc. I try to make time to do some more meaningful comments. Dinner's on... a beer and DA. Thank you and you are welcome.
