In my AU, Moon and Circe are half sisters. Circe is the daughter of Helios and Hecate, but they refused to raise her, giving Nightmare. Nightmare had a strong relationship with Circe, but Nightmare also wanted to have her own children. Because of this, Circe is jealous of Moon, but Nightmare was unable to build a relationship with Nightmare. Moon doesn't even fully accept Nightmare as a parent, but she sees Circe as Nightmare's true daughter.
