My 2nd attempt of drawing Sherlock. XDMy 1st attempt I didn’t even finish the face, it was so baaaad.
Based off of a larger (and almost full bodied) version of this photo [link] .
I wonder if I should ink it and make a digital version… hmm…
I really like this show so far, which this fanart shows. I don’t draw a lot of fanart (Contrary to what my gallery shows). XD I think the way it is written is pretty good, I just wish Sherlock wasn’t a sociopath (and a bit insane). I love his outfits though. He is also pretty handsome.
I love the way the show is edited and the way it is shot. The camera work is gorgeous (except for some “blurry” scenery shots… wtf? I hope this was just the fact I was watching not great quality video), and the editing is… wow. My broadcasting teacher said if we notice how things are edited, that means it is a bad job, but I just notice these things if they are done really well. Plus, I disagree with him if it’s a great job of editing and someone like me (who likes editing) notices it.

And I notice edits too! I'm a bit of an editing geek, and I don't think it's a mark of bad editing.
I do love your picture of sherlock- It's a softer style than usually seen with his character, but you can totally see it's him! Fav-ed. :3

Ah, no, I like it! The soft style is a nice, new take! (I rewatched the 3 episodes again and I cringed at the blurriness XD)

Yea, the shots are great except for those blurry ones! I wonder if something happened and they had to use it, or they thought it would be good?

Since it wasn't present in the Pilot... I reckon it was on porpoise. It does look nice, when you make an effort, it's just the WTF element that sort of ruins it for me.. Kinda reminds me of a lomography camera shot, or Vaseline on the lens. Something antique and/or retro... Maybe what they were going for?
