I think that is the point. When it comes to realism you try to make it look as close to the original as possible, however, adding personal flare and style is important, so I can see your point. We all just have to remember some people like being close to the picture, while others like to branch off into different styles, while still maintaining the picture reference visibility : )Β

Yeah everybody have own style and different Fav style....I have own style...I like to close to the reference but not 100% same...some people say that to much realism but if they look closely and watch carefully... It's is not that much....Β

Yeah I can almost tell minor differences in digital portraits. I like to have it
look close to the main image, but I prefer exaggerated features so I alter it
a bit
