I've read a pretty good meta post on Tumblr about Sirius and the Potters and it kinda inspired me. This pic is an illustration of this part:
I imagine Sirius having long talks with Mr. Potter about equality, the same talks James had his entire life, and Sirius for the first time seriously laying his family beliefs to serious scrutiny. James had told him what he believed was wrong, sure, but Mr. Potter explained why and gave him all the actual reasons why. He laid those foundations for a better way of thinking.

I really like this one a lot! This is an event that probably happened since the Potters took Sirius in as a surrogate son. I also like how you portrayed James' father with the trademark Potter messy hair!

Aww, thank you! I wanted to draw Mr. Potter similar to James,though he looks a bit like how I draw Remus... I uploaded a family portrait to my Tumblr (I guess I'll upload it here also someday), the messy hair is more obvious there. I agree, it's really a Potter trademark!
(And I think we can declare that I'm officially a vest-maniac. Sirius' wardrobe wasn't enough for me, now Mr. Potter's is invaded by vests also. But at least now I have a personal headcanon of Sirius who started wearing vests as a form of flattery towards Mr. Potter. The ugly truth is, I'm just enjoying drawing vests more than enough. My bad.)
