Yay, fawnling baby Bryn and Rosie's first child, Gilraen, played by ~Eileendj

She's officially born today, so here is her first pic ^^ along with mommy and daddy

Late Spring Year 757 of the New Age

The sun fought tooth and nail to get through the thick canopy, and eventually broke a few of it’s rays through, lighting the dark forest with glimmers of light. There were no ravens today, but small songbirds chirped merrily, hidden up high among the boughs and branches.

Rosalie sighed, trying to find them from her resting spot at the opening of the new den. Her belly bulged and moved of it’s own accord, and while a little scared of what would happen, she knew nature would help her through, along with a few strips of willow bark. She saw flashes of blue, yellow and red as the songbirds flitted about.

Smiling, she laid her head down, taking advantage of a little rest. The pine boughs under her creaked as she adjusted. Brynmore had hastily gathered a lot of pine branches, to make some nice bedding for her and their fawn. A few furs were huddled in the corner, awaiting for after the birth to line the den.

A swift kick awoke Rosalie. Groaning, she raised her head and looked back at her belly, a tired smile on her lips. A different pain came, rushing in and ebbing away in waves, like the tides of the sea, or the ripples on a lake during a rainstorm.

Fear washed over her, and she looked out to see Brynmore, standing guard a few paces away. Panting, her mind went blank as the pain took her to a far away place, back to Glenmore and her little pond and oak tree home. She didn’t even notice Aspen standing at her knees, looking up at her with confusion.

After several pushes, a few nuzzles from Brynmore and chittering’s from Aspen, a small bleat was heard.

Her head clearing, she turned to look upon her daughter. Her coat reflected that of her father, a dark night sky with bright stars, white markings along her muzzle and eyes, hooves, chest and a silver mane and tail.

Smiling, Rosalie half turned her body without getting up, and began cleaning her new baby, a new kind of joy leaping into her heart, where fear and pain had just resided.

“She’s beautiful.” Rosie heard Bryn say. Turning, she reached her muzzle to him, and giving him a quick nuzzle, turned back to their daughter.

“My little star born, Gilraen.” She sighed with a smile, as the little doe bleated at her parents.
