Beautiful! The lighting is very good, and the steam coming off the beams adds great effect. Your colors are clean and bold, emphasizing the standard of the general culture you are representing. Your small details are also done really well. The leaves falling on the right have definable edges but are blurred enough due to them falling. The women on the balcony have appropriate details for their distance from the place of our perspective. The same has been achieved with the people on the bridge, a fine balance between distance and detail. The drawbacks to this picture are the three dimensional aspects of certain objects. The most obvious is the lack dimension on the pillars. While not terrible, they do not quite fit with the rest of picture. Another issue is the lack of detail on the balcony that the two women are standing on. Almost every other object is gloriously detailed and full of rich color while the balcony has a darkness that is not present in any other object. The final issue is the lack of detail on the leaves that are still connected to their trees. While they do not really take anything away from the entire picture, they do bring in a little vagueness that is just a little too underdone. All in all however, this is a truly beautiful piece, the effort put into the making of this is nothing less than Herculean, and it really shows. Fantastic job!
