I'm glad you like it. It seems to be a rather divisive picture, though. People either love it or hate it.

As for creating it... I used a tree brush and gaussian blur for the cracks. The shades of blue are the result of some colour balancing on a seperate layer.

Yeah... Most of it was trial and error. As for the brush - I wondered "How can I create jagged lines more easily?" Then it struck me. Tree branches, of course (probably due to the fact that I've got four potted trees on my windowsill right in front of me ). So I googled that and found out that you could download tree brushes. And that I did. ^_^
