It have been 5 years since you joined the Survey Corps, you're a squad leader and you have a really good boyfriend, everything has been good for you.
Today was a special day, the King has offered a ball in honor of the next expedition for the Survey Corps, everybody was excited, even you. You finished early your paperwork and other chores so you were free to go to the ball.

- Oh i can't wait for tonight's party, what are you going to wear (f/n)?- Hanji asked.
-Ahmmm a dress- you said as you took a bite of your bread.
-I already know that, but what kind of dress? a large one? a short one? black? white?
-You´ll have to wait to find it out.- you said blinking.

Levi was hearing your conversation. - Tch, what a scandal they made for a stupid dance.- he thought.
Levi and you weren't exactly friends, your relationship was really neutral, when you two first met he didn't pay attention to you, with the past of the years he realise you were actually a nice person, few times he talked to you, but he studied you all of this time, he find out that you were a caring, honest and brave person, he wanted to get to know you better but you having a boyfriend and he dating petra hasn't made things easy, so he thought you both were fine this way.

knock knock!
- State name and business.- levi spoke from the inside of his office.
-Its me, Petra.- levi opened the door and let petra walked inside.
-Hey i missed you.- said petra giving a small kiss to levi.- So we are going to the ball together aren't we?
- I don't know Petra I have a lot of paperwork here to do, why don't you go with the guys?- Levi reply.
- Because I want to go with you, I mean you're my boyfriend so it's natural that I wanna go with you.
-I already told you I have lots of work to do.
-I can help you, so you can go with me.- Petra insisted
-I rather do it myself, besides I'd feel bad if you stay here doing paperwork instead of having fun tonight.
-Ok, but I won't leave without a good kiss.- they started to making out in levi's desk, behind them was a large window, levi opened one eye and looked out the window, he saw a fancy carriage parked, he knew it was from your boyfriend Nicholas, then he saw you approaching to the carriage, Nicholas went to meet and he kissed you. Levi stop kissing Petra to watch more closely the scene, he felt a bit jealous.
-Is something wrong?- Petra asked.
-No.- levi said as he started kissing her again, still peeking with one eye out the window. After you and Nicholas broke away the kiss, levi watched that you were saying something to Nick and he was moving his head in reply as a "no" you kissed him again, and he went back into the carriage, you stood there watching him go, and then you return inside the castle. Levi stop again kissing Petra.
- Uhm Petra... I have to start working now.
-Oh! yes, I need to get ready anyways.- said Petra.- hope you finish soon, I love you...- she stayed a bit on the door frame expecting a reply from levi
- Me too...- with that, Petra smiled and went to her room.

You were passing by levi's office when you heard someone talking to you.
- Aren't you supposed to be wearing a mysterious dress?
- Ah! Corporal, uhmm no actually I'm not going.- you said with a bit of disappointment in your tone.
- Everything is ok?.- asked levi.
- Yes, it´s just that I was going with Nick but he has this meeting... so... I better stay here... what about you?
- Not going, I have a lot of work.-levi answered.
- I see... well since i'm staying here too, would you like me to help you?
- Well... I don't know... if you don't annoy me I guess is ok...
- Oh don't worry, I know you like silence, alright i'm gonna prepare some tea and snacks i'll be right back.

-I know it´s a shame that you won't be dancing with me tonight. Petra said a bit sad.
-Corporal i hope you like lemon grass tea... oh hello Petra.- you said as you walked in the office.
-Hello Lieutenant (L/n). You're not going to the party? Petra asked as she saw that you were still in uniform.
-Oh no... i'll stay here to help corporal with his work, my boyfriend can´t go so I decided to stay, don't worry we'll finish this up soon so he can go with you. -You said while you blinked. Petra feel kind of jealous, levi had rejected her help early, but then he asked you to help him?

-I forgot the sugar, Excuse me, have fun tonight Petra see you later.-Levi felt nervous, he gave Petra a goodnight kiss and then she left. You return when you saw her leaving.

3 hours have past since you and Levi started doing the paperwork, both of you were kind of bored, you talked a little during this time, but the atmosphere felt a bit tense.

Levi was waiting for you at the entrance of the castle he looked really handsome in his formal suit, and then you show up, you were gorgeous in your large halter (F/c) dress. Levi was astonished watching you as you walked towards him.
- I'm ready.- you said. Levi was still shocked. you looked like a princess and his heart was pounding so fast, he has this funny feeling now, he forgot for a second about the titans, the deaths, the sorrow... He felt... happiness. he blushed a little.
-You uhm... you look uhm..-Levi hesitate.
- It's ok, You look great too.- you said as you blushed too. he helped you to get up to the carriage, and then you both were on your way to the ball.

When you arrived to the hall you saw Erwin who immediately approached to levi and you.
-What a surprise! I thought neither of you were coming, (F/n) you look absolutely gorgeous tonight.- Levi felt kind of jealous by this comment. Hanji approached too.
-(F/n) Oh my god you look like a goddess, and levi you look really handsome too i'd never seen you so formal dressed, oh by the way Petra is over there with the rest of your squad if you were looking for her.
