I like the apophysis render though honestly I think it's a bit dull. Maybe add some lighter colors, some white and cyan to the gradient... It would give the fractal more definition, as well as add contrast to this work-and honestly I think this work is lacking contrast.

Having said that, this piece has a lot of potential- and again I really like the MS-Paint overlay.
