Description
She was picking up seashells and starfish at low tide, when she noticed her reflection doing the same.Done pretty quickly, since there aren't a lot of details, mostly just colors blending into each other
It's a christmas gift (pretty early I know) for my grandmother.
It's also going into my Storybook portfolio!

I would suggest on a piece like this to add some ink details. It might be more difficult on a high tectured paper like this, but I think a thin, small point pen would sufice. You could also try the new "pen-brushes," and I've actually found that liquid ink with a brush or speedball dip pen is not all that bad (and relatively easy to get a hang of at some length!)
At any rate, keep making art!

That is amazing! The colors look great, and the reflection looks perfect! Just my opinion, but I think it would look even cooler if you added the reflection of the lighthouse. Either way, very well done!

This is very well drawn. I like the lighthouse and the girl. However the starfish looks like it is floating on water or it doesn't have water at all. Also the line where the water meets the sky looks connected. not separated. good job though
