about a week ago I was feeling, not depressed as such but almost frantic in a way. As if I was all alone in the world and no-one even cared. This thought was chokinh the very life out of me.So I picked up my pencil and drew a small doodle.
To my suprise it actuyally came out very good, despite being so small and scrappy. So I wrote the words you see here next to it (I blame Edgar Allen Poe's influence)
Anyway, I liked it so much I decided to colour it, which is what I sat down and did today, even though I've been in an extremely good mood for the past day or so.
Well I decided to cut a little loose with my colouring and not worry so much about it being smooth and polished and just "painted". I also decided to, instead of using multiple layers and Multiply and Layer masks to just paint to eyes the same way I do the skin and the result, in my opinion, is spectacular.
Why Pur?
because I always use him to echo my feelings. Why do you think I beat him up so much?

I love it. The light that seems to touch Pur is very symbollic, like "Reach for the light" type thing. I really do like how you colour Irken eyes. Its beautiful. I love the shading within the whole .... iris i presume and the bigger highlights. Awesome pose and i love the all around shading too. The background is quite unique too, i lurve it

This is wonderful. I've had times where I felt the same as you, not depressed, just all alone and a little freaked out.
It's fun to convey emotion through something else and so have that character beaten to death sometimes. >3
