Description You know what's a good idea? To start drawing a picture the minute after you've taken you're sleeping aids. This is a GOOD idea. *dies*

There were 5 boy ponies "officially" in the G2 line. (I say officially because some of the girls were actually sold as boys in other countries). The boys in G2 are very interesting because they don't have different molds like in G1 and G4. So they look exactly like the girls.

Anyway, I love Prince Firefly's colour scheme a lot! It's actually very similair to Princess Crystal's who I also really really like. Maybe they're siblings?

I'm going to bed.

He is very beautifully drawn, I love his sparkly mane.  I agree that he has a great color scheme.

I may be exaggerating, but I feel that Prince Firefly isn't that well known, because I have seen people complain that G4/Friendship is Magic made Lickety-Split a boy, but I've never seen anyone say that G2 did the same to Firefly.  Either way, it's kind of silly, as neither of them are supposed to be the same pony.

Yeah. Hasbro recycles names all the time XD;; There's even a "My Pretty Mermaid" doll whose name was "Moondancer"

If they the same mold they could say its a girl or a boy.  And this sure looks very different from how you been drawing them.

The back of the packaging always has a little card-story explaining a pony's personality something they've done since the 80s. Prince Firefly's backstory specifically calls him a 'he', as well as other ponies not titled "Prince". Like Clever Clover is a boy too.
And yeah XD he's not from the new show, so I wanted to draw him more like the G2 style which is very weird and different.
