Description This is what happens when you read the ENTIRE Uzumaki manga and watch EVERY episode of Wander over Yonder in the same week .___.

This would be the most tonally inconsistent story EVER! I mean EVERRRRR!!! Can't really see Wander running around hugging things while people are getting every bone in their bodies crushed as they physically twist themselves into spirals (it's a pretty gory manga) Buuuut... on the other hand I think immediately after this picture Sylvia probably went "Nope!" and turned around and they left... On a grand adventure to find a new banjo string!!!! 8D

Haven't spent this much time on a background in a long time. I hope it looks ok it took a while.
Can you guess my favourite Wander Over Yonder episode is "The Pet"? Bet you couldn't have figured that out ;D

Uzumaki is a neat manga, but I feel it's visually and conceptually stronger than it is in story. Although I did like its Lovecraftian vibe. I just felt it lacked substance.

Wow I've gone so deep into the Internet. Β Crossing over Cartoon Network with Junji Ito, although the one episode of Steven Universe reminded me of Hellstar Remina with that sentient planet spotted in the telescope.
Then again, I did a JI x UT crossover, so glass house.

Wow this is gorgeous ! I love the texture of it and the perspective is amazing. I've never read that manga but I can easily tell it's a suspense/horror type genre just by the look on their faces and the misty dark tone of the background. It has a very ominous feel to it, you portrayed this very well !

Heh heh XD I didn't find it scary but simply because Lovecraftian horror isn't a trigger for me. Now GHOSTS, Ghosts I am terrified of D'8 But I still really REALLY like Lovecraftian concepts and imagery.

I remember reading Uzamaki a while back. A good horror manga with an interesting concept. The images stayed with me for a good week or so, haha.

This is a really cool piece! Very atmospheric due to the choice of colours and the mist. I particularly love the shading in this and the way you portrayed their worry in their expressions, it works really well with the rest of the artwork.

Thank you very much I actually tried the going black and white method first before I put the colours on. I think it worked well here, but I will have to learn how to colour this way with colours that are more vibrant. The monochrome look works here, but I can't always had backgrounds look like this

I would actually not recommend Uzumaki if you're squeamish, or get scared or upset easily. It's.... a really disturbing manga. But if you like horror, especially abstract horror then I'd say it's worth checking out You have been warned.
I still need to watch Gravity Falls, but Wander over Yonder is like my newest favourite thing ever ;____; I love it so much I could explode!
