Description To capitalize on the CONCEPTUAL success of Changeling Challenge (even though, in a PRACTICAL sense, it was a dismal failure), I'm working on creating a miniature version of the game that can be sold for cheap for anybody that wants to own his/her own Twilight Gun. :3

Of course, since the original toy gun model was too big and too obscure to serve as the base for a mass production model, some miniaturization was required. A little research and product testing finally landed the perfect model in terms of price, quality and size. It's only a single-shot, but it has a 13m range and each purchase indirectly helps Hasbro too, so in the end it was a no-brainer. ^^

The new Mini Twilight Gun offers many advantages over the original model:

- MUCH higher quality base gun
- One-piece Chibi Twilight Graphic
- Thicker ply paper
- Better adhesives
- No emergency scotch tape.
- No jamming

Look for the "retail box" for her soon in the coming days. ^__^

Cool! I wanna get a Nerf Rayven for Christmas...that's the one the shoots glow in the dark darts. I also want the new MLP toys of Nightmare Moon, Zecora and Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon3. Funny how when I was a kid I wanted toys for Christmas, then as I became a teenager I wanted much bigger, more expensive and more "mature" gifts like computers and outdoors equipment and other associated gadgets, but now that I'm a young adult I am content with toys again.

The new ponies come with brushable manes, so I hope there are tutorials online on how to style their manes to look like how they do in the show...I know there is a fairly good-looking tutorial on how to style and curl the Pinkie Pie toy's mane to get it surprisingly close to how it is in the show. I have only experienced two brushable MLP toys in my entire life...first is a little G3 Rainbow Dash keychain from 2003 my stepdad got for me, and the second is another Rainbow Dash, a larger G3.5 version made from squishy plastic that had a much thicker mane. My best friend's 12-year-old daughter gave her to me, but because I'm only really into FiM (and some of the original G1 show from the 1980s) I decided to donate her to the school I volunteer at, since there are at least two little girls there who are crazy about MLP. I feel generous!

Oh wow, that thing would be a cool alternative to laser tag.

I got that collection set of ponies back when it could be preordered, it really is worth it IMHO. Good on Hasbro to market this more universally, right down to the extensive use of black on their new packagings (which even some little girls I've shown this to find cool). ^^

And yep, I'm pretty much the same way with toys as well -- granted only for select items. I don't really want to collect GI Joes anymore, but I still have a strong passion for Legos, and as an adult with a consistent money supply I've been able to gather up all the sets I've always dreamed of owning as a kid (and those that are obnoxiously-expensive, I recreate using the online manual and piece chart). It lends itself to good closure, plus some of these are worth serious money... I just finished packing an old Forestmen set that I could easily sell for $250 on eBay if I really wanted to. >v>

And yeah, are there EVER tutorials for that. Granted, I rather keep mine in their packaging because,... well... collectibles.

May the spirit of Rarity be with you. ^.^

Nice one... But the thumbnail made her look like she was taking a dump... doggystyle, and I just got a disturbing image in my head because of that sentence...

Haha, well you can blame Hasbro for that... the original Twilight Gattling Gun pose didn't exactly lend itself to harmless interpretation. D

[Same with the "Stupid Sexy Twilight" butt wiggle from the first half of the finale] XD

Incidentally, the "game" in which this thing belongs to is ready, in case you'd like to check it out. ^^

What I wouldn't do for a near life sized Twilight rapid-fire Nerf gun with a 300 ammo payload. OVERKILL I know lol

This sure looks adorable ^^ is it a water gun? How cute to having to pump her tail to 'reload' the pressure xD

hehe, oh yeah... someone mentioned i should make a Twilight Gun out of a Nerf Vulcan... that would be as close to life-sized as you could make it. Granted, it probably won't be practical to do with paper or even with molded plastic, but I'm sure some enterprising brony is gonna try it at some point.

And nope, not a water gun -- the material is watertight, but paper is still not happy around water. The base is actually a Nerf Reflex... if you know it, you'll know that despite it's size, this thing still packs a MAJOR punch! ^.^

haha, not to worry... you load it from her head, right where her horn is (convenient?).

You DO have to pull her tail back to arm it, though.

Wait... Is it a real gun? at first I thought it was just a popgun or nerf gun or something... I wouldn't be aloud to buy this if it is. I would totally want one though! If you're still selling these in 10 years, let me know! lolz
