Description
This is an old character for a short film I was going to do. This is the first design, I tried to produce a more satisfactory character design later, because this one didn't quite match the changes I made in the story.Ultimately, I stopped working on the short film, but I learned a lot in the process and I will be better prepared next time - or if I choose to pick it back up again.

Really good combination of texture methods, and the lighting is good too. His face is expressive, he has character!

Thanks! For this one I had developed a texturing method that used Mudbox for one of the steps. When I returned Mudbox for a refund I had to learn how to texture without it (yes, you can't texture in Mudbox, but you can convert the 16bpp displacement map to an 8bpp image), I eventually figured that out with Cable [link]
