Yay, Primarina's back! But this is a different setting from my (oddly popular) Rumoured Mermaid comic .

The majestic seal finds a poor young Riolu drowning in her habitat. I'll save reasons for later, but they're enough for the Riolu to be all alone, I'll give you that.
So Primarina rescues him with a bubble of air and wants to keep him as her own boy. He accepts her and they become inseparable.
And don't worry, she'll keep him breathing with more air-bubbles.

I made this art, along with future pages and sketches showing what they get up to, to take a little 2-day break from drawing SSBF.
Yes, I'm still working on it and now there's over 30 pages I haven't shown yet help me.

I was gonna have Charmy the Charmander as Pri's boy (making it non-canon to Team Firedrop's story), but I also wanted to have a go with a cute Pokemon that I hardly ever draw. Thus, Riolu was selected. Makes him great for practice before Lucario's inevitable debut in SSBF.
Of course, I've been wanting to draw more of Primarina, too.

By the way, some panels in this are actually replaced with more 'safe' pictures.
You know me with underwater romance, right? ...Yeah, I had Primarina kissing Riolu to give him air.
That would be fine, but now that it's been established that they're mother 'n son, I wasn't sure if that'd be appropriate at all (especially considering the bit of criticism I got for the beginning of Living with a Mermaid). So I've made alternative pictures and made them the same shape as the older ones, like jigsaw pieces. They seem to really blend well!

Anyway, stay tuned for more of Riolu and his unusual but caring mother. It's gonna be a little strange, but heart-warming. ^^

My friend, SmashFan16, has seemingly deleted his DA account and disappeared.
He's behind the Spanish version of SSBF, although admittedly, that version hasn't been looked at as much. But I'm still happy that the Spanish translation was a thing.

Still, what the heck happened to him?? If anyone knows, send me a note about it. Thanks.
