So I thought it would be time for some assassin's creed fanart, since it's one of my favourite games.Don't know why everyone hates Connor, I think he is fucking badass haha

I agree, Connor is a great character, ugh some people just piss me off the way they talk about him! Sorry I got distracted thinking about Connor instead of what I actually wanted to say....This is completely beautiful art work, really wonderfully captured. You have got him perfectly in this, also the background looks breath-taking, really lovely work.

I guess everyone has an own opinion. For example I am not that much of a young Ezio and Edward fan but they seem to be the most loved characters of the series.

Personally I love Ezio full stop, Edward is okay in a cool pirate way, but Connor is also amazing in his own way. To be honest, I think I love all the assassins, Edward is only a like though lol. Yeah, I thought the background was brilliant, really lovely work it added to the image beautifully!

I just can say that Connor is my favourite, the other Assassins are all ok, I can't say I love one of them but I don't hate them though haha
Altair could have been really cool, but he never got much dialog. I hope they remaster the AC1 game and give him proper conversations with cutscenes.
And god damn he should take off his hood, I want to know how his hair looks like haha

Connor may not have the most fans, but he's my favorite. He'll always have a fan in me. Dear God, I can't express how much I adore him and his character. You did a fantastic job capturing his personality!

This is an excellent piece of art! The colors are so soft and subtle, yet so striking. And the background is so gorgeous-it totally makes the picture.

Ich fand Conor am anfang auch irgendwie Doof...weil ich an den guten alten Ezio gewohnt war, aber mein Freund wollte AC3 unbedingt haben weil er ALLE AC Spiele haben will..und da hab ich ihm beim zocken zugesehen und musste mir eingestehen: Conor hats drauf.

AC3 war mein erstes next gen spiel überhaupt drum war ich nichts andere gewohnt und konnte ohne erwartungen spielen. danach hab es in der richtigen reihenfolge von AC1 bis AC3 durchgespielt und muss sagen, dass connor trotzdem mein favorit is. den jungen ezio mochte ich gar nicht, da haben mich einfach ein paar dinge wirklich gestört, in revelations hatte ich ihn dann schon sehr gern. nur conner war einfach mal was anderes und ich find der charakter hatte viel tiefe. außerdem is er total badass haha

Ich hatte ja mit der 1 angefangen und dann die ganze Zeit mit Ezio gespielt. Mein Computer hat so seine Probleme mit der Grafik deshalb kann ichs mir nich zulegen ...da muss ich mir erstmal einen besseren Laptop besorgen XD
Aber wirklich gespannt bin ich ja auf Black Flag...ich meine....PIRATEN!

ja darum hab ich mir ne konsole gekauft, is viel einfacher wenn du dir keine sorgen drüber machen musst obs der computer packt haha
andererseits sind die pc versionen immer min. 10 euro billiger

You see the fire in his eyes. Then there's his relationship with the Old Man, with the various homesteaders, and even Bobby Faulkner. There's so much to him that differentiates him to the previous Assassins. He is torn between the conflicting sides of his heritage. He is torn by his different names. He is torn by his family. He smiles just not in a way that's expected - he smiles without actually moving his lips at all. You see in his conversations with various people though it is very subtle. Also when he recruits those who would form the new Colonial Brotherhood - he bonds with them because they are reflections of himself as they are of more than one 'world' as it were.

what a nice comment. I also never thought about him as rude or emotionless. Like you said, it has much to do with the way he has grown up and the things he went through. I really like him and I loved the whole game. Would love to play another game with him but I think there are way to much people who don't like his character.

It was a welcome change of pace and character after three games with Ezio. It was also the first game where I recognized a lot of landmarks because they are still around today in more or less the same shape. I had also been to Independence Hall around the same time I was playing the game for the first time. I realize the neighborhood looks far more modern today except for the historically preserved structures like the Hall yet it was starting to see the level of detail they aspired to in recreating the past.
Also for each of the homesteaders you see someone representing something unique to the colonies. It was the homestead where you saw the family that he had 'adopted' as his own and this is something Achilles takes an unspoken pride in to the end of his days. At first it was just him and 'Connor' yet as the years passed the place became so much more. Historically there really is a Davenport Homestead though in no way connected to a man called Achilles.
Yes 'Connor' does not apparently have the level of popularity held by his 'ancestors'. Still who knows what Black Flag brings when one goes sailing as his grandfather Edward.

I've got a shorter way to visit rome, veniece or florence since I am living in austria.
I really love the amout of detail the producers put in the assassin's creed games. That's why I love the games so much. They bring you back in another time, another country and you can just enjoy the feeling. also the climbing is pretty cool haha
I am really looking forward to see edwards character. He looks like an asshole to me haha but I don't think that's such a bad thing, I like to see different characters in different places.
