Wow, it's been a long time since I submitted something.So here is Altaïr, thought I should draw him since I have already drawn Ezio, Connor and Edward.
This was more fun than I expected. I really like his outfit now... after drawing it for hours haha
Hope you like it. I used reference on a couple of screenshots I found on tumblr.

der gute herr schaut bei mir en bissel aus als ob er schielt, oder ich schiel
aber die Narbe hast du toll hinbekommen

die siehst du noch so gut? entweder hab ich einen bildschirm der das zeug zu dunkel anzeigt oder du einen ders zu hell anzeigt haha
wie ich die augen gemalt hab hat er mir nur zu müde ausgeschaut, darum hab ichs im bereich der augen noch dünkler gemacht, aber was weiß ich vlt weiß ich auch nicht mehr wie augen ausschauen solln haha
aber danke für den rest :3 freu mich immer wenn du was gut findest weil ich bei dir weiß dass du auch sagst wenn dir was nicht gfallt

naja en kritiker sollte ja nicht nur gutes sagen
und ich find dein Zeug eigentlich generell erst mal toll
aber wenn man dann genauer hinschaut, findet man immer en paar sachen die "komisch" aussehn oder nicht so gut passen
und von der Kunstgeschichte her bekomm ich ja noch genug erfahrung mit
ist schön, dass dich das freut
aber jetzt wo ich nochmal genauer hinschau,
diese Hand D: die schaut arg geschwollen aus is dem was draufgeflogen oder hat ihn ne Biene gestochen?

Even though I never played AC I, Altair will always be my favourite. Although Edward is tied.

I liked Altair too, he is my second favorite behind Connor. Never really got to like Edward because I couldn't connect to his actions.

Don't worry, at first Edward only cares about money, but that's only because he wants a better life for him and Caroline. But he does change about 2/3 of the way through the game. And the ending, oh the ending is so sweet. And a little sad.

I already finished the game, and I don't think he did it in any way for caroline. he did it because he wanted a better life and more money, caroline told him not to go. and his "change" happened way to fast for me. he always looks for the money and suddenly he is a better person. I saw no reason for this change. But I also really liked the ending. the thing that his wife had a daughter from him and passed away a long time ago was the first really realistic thing in the game. And this scene with Haytham in the theatre was also really lovely.

Well I can't force you to change your opinion, but really, why should I. If that's how you see it, then that's fine. Don't get me wrong, I respect your insight, but I noticed he became more responsible and matured a little. Which is kind of weird since he should be level headed about the whole: sell out the Assassins to the Templars, and help the Assassin's just to get some fancy armour, thing. If I were a character in the game, I would constantly be trying to persuade him to do the right thing. Which he does after Mary Read dies. I guess the main reason why I'm so uptight about that is because he's a pirate, and I love pirates. Anyway, sorry if I come across as rude and an "I'm always right" kind of person. I'm not. But I'm hasty, and just say what comes to mind. It's something I'm going to have to work on.

Sorry if my comment seemed rude. I think everyone has his own opinion and I know plenty of people that like Edward and think of him as the best character in the whole series, so there is nothing wrong with it! The things I say are also just my sight. I also think it's fun to talk with other people about their view of the games. The only thing I said is that I wasn't able to really like him as a character, still I really liked the pirate setting. Mary Reads death was a sad point in the game, but I never saw such a deep friendship between Edward and her, so it felt a bit simulated for me. But in my opinion the close relationships in AC are never that well made. Also didn't really understand the "love" between Haytham and Ziio. The only thing that really felt real to me was Ezios connection to his family and Connors to his mother.

True, it was pretty sad when Ezio's family was executed. Right in front of him. Especially Petruccio. He wasn't exactly in any condition to resist the Borgia. Killing Ezio's brothers "just to make a point" is one reason why the Borgia were horrible Templars. Most Templars believing that controlling free will will "save" people is messed up. But I'm pretty sure that Rodrigo himself admitted that he only wanted power. And for Conner, I like that Abstergo didn't have as much of a twisted distortion of facts about him was pretty... I don't really know if funny is the right word, but it was cool. I hated the "mis "interpretation of Altair and Ezio. The Templars are always trying to find every reason to condemn the Assassins, even when it's obviously a fabrication. Anyway I'm glad you aren't one of those people who can't stand other people having an opinion, though I'm sure you've had arguments like that in the past, everyone has. Also Google's thing of usinga red underline for mispelled words says Altair is correct, but Ezio isn't. It's kinda funny.

the templars in AC 2 and brotherhood were in my opinion the worst of the series. in AC 1, 3 and 4 I was able to understand their actions, even if I didn't think they were right.

Exactly! The Templars in I, II, III and IV at least THOUGHT they were doing the right thing, the Borgia clearly only cared about power. It really ticked me off when one of the computers in IV praised Rodrigo as "the family man". Oh he was a "family" man alright. You know what I mean, with Lucrezia. And it also got to me when it said that Conner was "ungrateful". Oh yeah, he's SOOO ungrateful to his father when his men burn Conner's village, and indirectly killed his mother. Also every main Assassin in the series has had a life changing event. Not always in the game, but one nonetheless, though I guess that's not entirely true, Altair had one before the first game, but Al Mualim's betrayal is still a traumatic thing; he had to kill the closet thing he had to a father because of it. We both know Ezio's and Conner's, and all of the people Edward cared ever really cared about have either betrayed him, been killed, or left him. I guess that's just a part of a good story. At least one I consider a good story. Don't know how other people feel. And this turned into a rant REALLY quickly.
