Istrill and Javine are now prepared for a chat with guild leader. They will have a brief moment to explain themselves of their actions and it would be in their best interest to be very persuasive.
Thugs hidden behind Istrill and Javine are just waiting for the leader's sign, whether to cut the rope or kick the stool from under the feet of one or both of the ladies.

What a great way to get the truth from someone! I think they both need to hang for our pleasure. I'd hang the blonde one first and let the dark haired girl watch her for 5 minutes before she gets hanged.

Hang Istrill, but keep Javine noosed and watching. Then, just as Javine think's she's safe and Istrill has kicked her last, hang Javine too!
It's sadistic, it gives the Guild an example of what happens if you fail, and you get a pair of lovely noosedances!
Or just hang them both. I'd prefer one and then the other, so I didn't have to divert my attention, but that's just me.

Let them live but have them spend some time in bondage as punishment, incorperate pain into the punishment (whipping, tight clamping, shock spells, etc), and leave them it some form of permanent mark (tatoo, brand, piercing, something like that) as a reminder, and the next mission they are sent on is one where if they fail it's probably because the were captured and/or killed (and one where the are almost certain to fail if they can't learn to work together, too).

i say humiliate them by say having them be forced to be like the guilds maids for a few weeks but the true humiliation would be forcing them to do it naked but there should be a few other things that would feel humiliating as well

It would be a waste of money and resources having trained both of them up to this point. If pride is the only thing holding them back from being successfull then break their spirits. Instead of selling them off, rent them out for an hour a shilling.

I still hope Istrill doesn't taste the rope, but rather gets eaten on some later mission, while Javine hangs for her inability to master some magic that would have ended their mission in success (since magic folk are SO powerful and all).
