This was made *before* DH! I completely forgot about it, then I found the sketch (dated 11-8-2006!) among some old drawings. And finally, after a year, I coloured it

The expressions in the eyes of both Snape and Lily are so good; you can see the "Oh great, this guy again" look of Lily, and Snape's discomfort and concern at how the Marauders have come to wreck his time with her (probably for the umpteenth time).

Your take on Snape, Lily and James/Sirius is extremely close to my own. This is exactly how I imagined them in my head (too bad I quit drawing years ago). This is one of my most favourite pictures because everyone on it is so damn perfect! Thanks for sharing your talent!
