Description White crows fly to Riverrun with the news of the arrival of winter. "Winter is coming, Westeros folks!"

For the crows, I took various references from google images.
Riverrun is loosely inspired from the Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo) in Naples. [link]
The portal between the two little towers on the low right can be pulled down to make a bridge over the river.

This is the only deviation so far in my gallery without human characters, lol

Nice. I love to draw crows since they have an interesting place in mythology and tales. The draw it's a good perspective of Riverrun.

As I wrote in the comments, I mixed up elements taken from Castel Nuovo (also called Maschio Angioino) in my home town, Naples, with other invented.

Oooh sweet, love the details on the castle (is that a fishy symbol?) .

You know, GRRM is really weird with birds, like, they never mess up where they're supposed to go and they can even find people in the field -- how could you ever train a bird to do that??

Oh it wasn't a question really, GRRM said that he makes some things work just magically. I just find the bird system amusing sometimes, it's like medieval instant messenger
