Description
Berchhold the Fat of Bohemia, long sought to increase his social standing among his peers and instil fear in his enemies. He hit upon the plan of training captive bears to fight as an army on the battlefield. His “Corpus Ursus” as he called them, proved to be extremely successful, winning him many victories and spreading fear amongst those that opposed him.
Sadly for Berchhold, it was not to last…A disgruntled former ally, jealous of his new-found status and riches, launched a surprise attack in the depths of winter while the troops were hibernating…
