Great capture, and nice idea with the see-through fabric!

Love this picture. The lighting is superb, almost dividing the model into a light and dark side. The lighter side highlights muscle mass and body contours perfectly, presenting a very strong, masculine figure. The model's face is very handsome and the glimmer of the earring adds a touch of sexiness. The 'confinement' imposed by the tulle leads me to some deeper thoughts about confinement often being more self-imposed than actual. Once again, a great image. You continue to have my respect.

Excellent concept and very good execution! I like the concept of the division between model and audience, or model and photographer. Each has their own "side" and role to play. The mesh or screen works great to create patterns from the lighting, and yet also feels solid enough to cause me to think about not being able to cross boundaries or break through to the other side.

The one little thing that doesn't work well for me: the fingernails. They are very visible on the thumb and fourth finger, and a bit less so on the others. They are simply a minor visual distraction, but not enough to make me really like the piece overall.

Great work!

Many thanks for your thoughtful observations and kind words. I had given some thought to work on the nails in Photoshop, but decided against it. Your critique may prompt me to rethink my decision.
Again, many thanks for your comments.

Love this...is that window screen or tulle?

Tulle - true story - I found it on my morning walk in the woods by the river - I have no idea how or why it ended up there.
