Description I haven't found too many resources on digitigrade legs, so here's my take on them!

These aren't anatomically perfect and focus more on the flow between one part to the next; the gesture, if you will, rather than creating perfect anatomy.

I did some robot like separation lines to show more clearly the joints.

You can reference these if you want for your own pictures, but don't trace over them. Shame on you if you do
If you find this helpful and use it and feel like crediting me, I'd appreciate it!

I might be doing similar things to this in a frequent basis if you guys seem interested in it. If so, do let me know on the comments. Comment also what you'd like to see next, parts you find difficult and all that.

Enjoy!

Very well done reference - I tend to find digi legs on anthros better-looking and simpler to draw - but that's just me.

Love the touch of the robot-esk feel to em. Definitely helps understand the connection better. Would definitely love to see you do more like this!

Like you said; they may not be 'perfectly' anatomically correct,  but it's a great reference of where the leg joints are.

(I saw it and went 'robots?' )

I figured adding less detail and showing the joints more mechanically would help more than boggling it down with details. the simpler it is, the easier to understand.

And yes~ robo-kitties were used in the making of this piece

Agreed. I usually do 'skeletal' versions for those examples. Bear bones, if you will.
I get annoyed when people make the 'heel' of Digigrade super long, with long paws. {Human like feet with animal feet attached}

Robo kitties!! Love it. XD

I'd really like more things like this. Uh, hands and feet are pains in the butt. As is 3/4 view heads/bodies/the whole thing. XD

hm. I might do a more in detail version to feet next. how I construct them and that sort of thing.
