Description Hot off the presses is a collection of my latest inventions! And the theme of these, I guess you could say, is that they're all loosely based off of gizmos and props I've seen all over the cartoon world.

First off, we have a little robotic helper of some sort. It's just a floating computer screen with computer mouses for arms. I've seen dozens of designs like this; Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, that crappy Cloudy and a Chance of Meatballs show, this one game called "Murder by Numbers", etc. So I decided to try my own spin on it. I kinda like it. I imagine a sort of gizmo like this would be seen working in the background of Ruben's lab or home during one of his adventures.

Then I have a hand-held scanning device. This one was based off of the P.K.E. Meter from the Ghostbusters movies, except this one looks more like something out of the Kids Next Door.

Next we have a gizmo I call The Brainstorm Beam. You see, waaaaaaay back when I was but a wee lad, I use to watch Rolie Polie Olie and 2 things always stuck out to me as a kid:

A. The Defenders Of Fun was my all-time favorite Playhouse Disney movie

And Z. One common mcguffin on the show was something called the Magnotron. At first, the machine turns things magnetic (which, in a world where literally everything is a robotic, isn't good) but the ray managed to do other things like shrink things, enlarge things, make things invisible and even swap out the characters' brains with each others.

So the Brainstorm Beam is my attempt to do something like that; a ray gun that can do basically anything.

And last but not least is something I call The Ballistic. It's a small spherical pod that can drive on a single tread. See, a while ago, a friend of mine (you know who you are) suggested that I should try a sort of bubble device that would protect Ruben from danger. Sort of like that one power up in Sonic the Hedgehog where he has a force field around him.

Except, after a few weeks of revision and redrawing, this is more like a vehicular version of Sonic's spin-dash move.

I also have some other designs for the Ballistic to travel on air and sea too, as per usual with me. Who knows, maybe this pod would be fitted out with other attachments, like drills and mech limbs and so forth.
