Seeing it tonight!Went for the comic outfit because the movie outfits are all very detailed with a million little pieces. Also, the comic is real good right now.

I just say Captain Marvel. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. My only significant complaints are in regards to how Nick Fury is handled in this movie. But otherwise this is up there with Marvel's best origin films for me. It wasn't pushing feminism on the audience which isn't inherently a bad thing. That's certainly something women can take away from the movie for obvious reasons but it's nice that I they can have that and I don't feel like I had to sit through an agenda driven or obnoxiously political movie.
I never had any doubt about Brie Larson. She was great. The whole cast was did a solid job. Storywise I was impressed they made me okay with the amnesia conceit. I almost always hate that as a narrative device but I was surprised by how creatively it was used and how well it worked. Overall Captain Marvel was a great movie. I need one more viewing before I'm comfortable saying it definitively but I think it might even be better than Wonder Woman.

As a rule the MCU costumes have gone to the next level or two in detail. Movies have that luxury, but monthly comics can't afford that much and still print in color.

Yeah, doing that amount of detail on several panels over twenty pages a month makes deadlines a lil difficult. I do find it a bit odd that they add so much noise to the more comic-book outfits, wouldn't mind if characters like Thor and Carol simplified a tad.

I work at a theatre, so I could see it for free in a couple days, but I work at a theatre so there's no way I'd avoid spoilers that long.
