Cessily kinda just faded away, I think she had small chameo roles for a bit but not very long. Which sucks, I miss her.

The mystery woman may have appeared in Daken's series, but I don't know. So far as I remember she just vanished, so I just imagine her to be Kimura. 

I like the idea of these two meeting and not having to talk, Laura being trained to read people and Cass being on another level of reading people altogether. Then Spoiler and Gabby just follow around and make quips.

Indeed though i think i saw on the cover of an newer xmen comic book, which is either coming out or has come out which looked like it had her on the cover. I wanna say maybe it was Excalibur but don’t quite me on this.

Its a real shame that so many of the new xmen from that era have just faded away, i know they had their time in the sun child hoods end, young xmen and they were still active dueing avx but it was about then that they faded. I think maybe its was kind of coursed by the arrival of the young original five that was the nail in the coffon as it were.

Not they ended up doing that much they just were sorta around and suched up the spot light but marvel couldn’t really do anything that with them as they seemed to flip flop on whether these five were the original five or something else. Like the orginal five from an alt timeline as was implied once or twice.

I mean no offence but when the biggest changes marvel can think of to make an impacted is making ice man gay which im not apossed to i herd good things about the older iceman solo run i just think it could have being handled better, cycopes hang out for a spell with his space pirate dad, angle date Laura and while i like the two their hella dysfunctional and rises sooo many questions as angel and Laura have worked together before. Jean grey into...kind of a busy body though and kind of a bitch, well i found her bitchy, i did find her mini seires interesting not really good but interesting. And beast...i honestly don’t know if they did anything of note with young beast other than have him struggle with tech.

And none of these changes (save iceman outing himself) have seemed to have the slightest impact on the orginal five, speaks of a desperate lack of creatively and smacks of pointlessness.

Hell when they brought back old jean grey (for the one hundred and tenth time) in the jean grey mini series they didnt even stick with many if any of the personality and quirks they had given young jean.  Other than maybe their being more to jean than the original comics from the 60tes suggested their was other than being the ‘nice , talentent girl next door, whos maybe abit more into risky stuff than she lets on’ at least as far as i could tell.

But thats neither here nor there, i think my major issue is that instead of the new xmen cast, surge, hellion, dust, cassie, rock slide, the gay lizard bloke and the black kind that can hack abilitys (i can never recall those two’s names) and other becoming well the full and proper new flag ship team now that the ordinal five (the old version) have being split up because of AVX are dead or gone a wee bit power mad.

(i still maintain the xmen were in mostly  right they just lacked diplomacy and the avengers pushed them into becoming villans)  

The new xmen just faded away, personally i think if marvel was going to bring the orinal five back as their younger selfs. As a counterbalance to the older broken version of the team, have the new xmen be the guide and teachers to the oginal five (alongside whomever else is around)   so its abit of a role reversal.  

Have The new xmen in their late teens early twentys and the oginral five young xmen be mid to late teens.

Sure change up the cast and split the team a bit every not again to keep things interesting as they cant have stayed the same. But thats got to better then these charaters that were super important and did a lot of good just disappearing nearly completely in the span of a few years. Also super weird that surge, rockslide, gay lizard dude, pixie are still in highscool when Laura whom was their age and in their team is now at the very least in her early 20tes and is petty much a single mother/much older sister (clone relationships are weird) to gabby

Sorry for the rant their but while filling out my saga of x23, i grew quite attacked to the new xmen and espeaily with the recent stuff of them just being ‘around’ save for Laura whos a major player these days and on the A team as it were. Though with logan back who knows how long that will last. And the seemingly pointlessness of the original five.

It erks me that they’ve being forgotten.

Speaking of something that makes no god dammed sense, bishops return which i wasn’t aware of before the uncanny xmen series set before the age of x man stuff.

Do you mean the mysterious women appeared in the daken seiries before Darken and Laura met (which is covered in the 2ed complete x23 collection, when he took over that crimal island) or was she around before that?

Like i said i thought she was Kimura to but she’s never being smart enough to try an corrupt Laura as it seemed the angle the mysterious women was playing at. That unlike the felicity and Kimura whom never viewed Laura as a person or having any anatomy, this mysterious women seemed to be wanting to seduce her to become a bad person all on her very own. Playing the long game

Kind of like how Ganges’s or harden criminals will imply younger kids to be look outs or gofers or helpers with small things. Giving them cash and stuff while slowly increasing their level of their involvement illegal operations.  

Its not that Kimura is incableable of subterfuge, she was able to get her hooks in on Laura’s ‘sisters’ that were created by alcomax  and as able to work well enough to create her own criminal empire. But she never once considered Laura a person enough to just offer her money to do things or or seemed cable of playing the level of long game needed to slowly corrupt  Laura when she’s more likely just ‘cool aid man’ her way through a door and kidnap Laura.

Like the hight if her ability of subterfuge was black mail and that amount to, will Belladonna and laura. Do what i tell you or i hurt your family. Which is the most basic from of black mail there is. And something she could have done all the way back in innocence lost and target x, had laura under her thumb all this time if she just captured Magon and her mom alive and kept them that way. But know she’d rather be a short sighted psycho bitch.

Kimura is kind of like the Mountain from game of thrones, it’s not that their completely moronic but pain, torment and violence matter more to them than larger goal. They are just blunt.

So since that story arc was abandoned (a shame really since Laura is in need of villans and one that can play the long game like i suggested, someone whos just always out of reach not  because their impervious to harm but they are so smart. would be a great foil for Laura as she is generally a lot more intelligent than Logan is, so a villan that reflects that differences would be awesome)  we just kind of have to assume that Kimura was the mysterious women and she some how relised that ‘maybe offering a carrot’ would be a good idea before promletly going back to evil bitch mode

I also like the idea of cass and Laura hanging out, though it would be rather quite considering Laura isn’t overly given to conversation and cass is practically mutie.
