If somebody's Semblance can be blocking pain, why not have a high Aura capacity for one? Maybe we do know his Semblance after all.
Also, didn't we see the Semblance sheen in the Ursa forest with Cardin? It was similar to when Ren unlocked his Semblance.

I don't remember where I heard this theory from, but saying it anyway.
Pyrrha's Semblance was polarity, or magnetism. What do magnets do? Attract two opposites, and repel two likes.
Pyrrha was female, honest, kind, humble, athletically fit, and a prodigy.
Jaune was quirky, weak, often very blunt, couldn't take "no" for an answer, and cheated his way into Beacon.
Pyrrha's Semblance turns her hands black.
In "Forever Fall, part 2(?)" Jaune glowed white when Cardin was thrown off of him.
Jaune melted down Pyrrha'a armor and had it incorporated into his own.
It's not a stretch to believe that Jaune's Semblance is another form of magnetism, such as magnetic repulsion.

Apparently Jaune's semblance has been named on the show, if he shares one with another character that would make sense. And very few of the semblances in the show have been "named", I think just Polarity and Glyphs. It would just seem odd that Pyrrha wouldn't have found it, if she shares it.

Well, in her original outfit, she had an underskirt that obscured the view, but the new outfit seems to lack that.

Well, let's face it, Ruby IS the OP protagonist that the writers need to nerf on a continual basis to stop her from being a story-breaker. Meanwhile, despite his many possible uses, they seem determined to keep Jaune as just a Woobie or a Comedy Sidekick.

If you worry about Ruby being OP, stay away from my fanfiction, where she gains full control over her silver eyes. Not just being able to trigger them at will, but also gaining a couple other abilities thanks to her silver eyes.
I´ll just give you the short version of what´s been revealed thus far:
- Sensing sorrow and despair in others.
- Turning these emotions into hope and compassion through talking, or, when she trains enough, just her mere presence.
- Turning Grimm to stone, thus preventing the otherwise endless cycle of death and rebirth they go through.
Also, in my headcanon, the silver eyes were a gift from one of the gods, so Ruby literally wields the power of a god.

there's a theory on Jaune's semblance being that shield thing he did in Vol 1, but with no repeat not sure on how solid that theory is

I don´t think it´s a shield. It looked more like he deflected the harm back to its source (a.k.a. Cardin).
That could be damn useful once he figures out that´s his semblance.

I'm holding to my theory that he gets that shield with his conviction to protect someone. Like he becomes the shield, he takes the hit so someone else doesn't get hurt. That's why it only lasted until Pyrrha was safe and he hasn't been able to use it while going out to kill monsters or fight in a tournament.

but then he also took the hit from the Deathstalker. he could have been lacking in conviction or desire to protect Pyrrha, true, and really the only other time he was in a fight or die scenario would have been the breach and the fall, so you may be on to something

Well, Jaune's also got a lot of Aura. I think his Semblance just acts differently. Either an Aura boost or invulnerability.
As for Ren, anything that might be his Semblance could also just be rule of cool. I think he can focus his Aura into more powerful strikes, but Fox did something similar in Vol 2. Ruby might be able to fly now, or the animation team is just having fun.
It's fun to speculate, though.

What if his semblance is "Shock Rebound" whatever energy, projectile or physical attack he gets would get sent right back to the source?
If that happens I want a yang vs Jaune spar..
Yang's punch would get sent right back to her but all the energy would be deflected back (even the heat produced and other forms of energy loss), making yang stronger but Jaune keeps deflecting the energy back making her more stronger...
It will be the "What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force?" situation I think....
