Description Meet Rosie, a cockatoo at the Butterfly House - I believe she's a Roseate Cockatoo (galah if you're from down under) Eolophus roseicapilla

Taken on a very cold day - if you look closely, you can see snow on her face.

Thanks, I thought it must be - I didn't research it very thoroughly, so I wasn't certain (search for cockatoo on Wikipedia + find pic of galah = 12 seconds research!)

Thanks She is exceedingly cute! And doesn't she know it...my friend who works with the parrots kept giving her treats for sitting still on this perch, so she kept butting in when we tried to put anyone else on the perch, then sitting looking cute and hoping for more treats!
